The Three Tiers

FIND YOUR
LEVEL.

Every player starts where they are — not where we wish they were. Three distinct tiers, three different times, one living curriculum built on the 800+ skill I'm Possible Checklist.

Tier 1 — Foundation
Kids Lab
Ages 5–10 · Beginner to Intermediate · Building before the bad habits set in
Tue & Thu — or — Once Weekly
Separate session times from Skill Lab and Level 2
I'm Possible Checklist — Kids EditionSame living curriculum model — one skill per session, logged and never repeated. Foundation-level skills from the checklist: footwork, ball control, shooting form basics.
One Skill. Full Session. No circuits, no rotations. Every kid in the room works the same skill until they feel it — the right habits built by pure repetition at an age when the brain absorbs fastest.
Age-Appropriate Skill SelectionCoach picks from the foundation section of the checklist — body mechanics, balance, lateral quickness, dribble control. Skills that set up every advanced move they'll learn later.
Small Group — Capped EnrollmentPersonal attention in every session. Kids are never lost in a crowd — the coach can see every player and correct form before it becomes habit.
Why start here? The window between ages 5–10 is when movement patterns get hardwired. Kids Lab gets them on the checklist early — building the foundation every serious player needs before bad habits have a chance to set in.
Tier 2 — Development
Skill Lab
Ages 10–15 · Intermediate · Serious players ready to train like professionals
3× Weekly — Separate Times
Consistent reps. Consistency is the whole game.
The I'm Possible Checklist — 800+ SkillsEvery session, one skill is selected from the full checklist. The whole room trains that skill together. It's logged. It never repeats for that group.
1 or 2 Skills Per Session — Maximum FocusNot a workout circuit. Not random drills. One skill, drilled deeply from every angle, until players own it. Repetition with intention.
A Living Curriculum — Never RepeatedCome 3× a week for a year — that's 70+ sessions — and you will never train the same skill twice. The checklist is being completed in real time.
Coached by Hoopology StaffCoach Warren, Coach Teisha Hyman, Coach Will Sadek-Arthur — whoever trains that day picks the skill and runs the session. Not assistants.
The Hoopology difference: Other gyms run drills. We run a curriculum. Every Skill Lab group has a tracked checklist — the coach knows what that group has done and what's next. Players aren't just getting better, they're systematically completing a 800+ skill development map.
Tier 3 — Elite
Level 2
Ages 14–17 · Advanced · Players with a real college or varsity goal
3× Weekly — Advanced Times
Separate from Skill Lab — serious athletes only environment
Elite Skill SequencingEverything from Skill Lab — plus advanced reads, counters, and game-situation specificity
College Recruitment LensTraining designed around what college coaches watch for — Coach Warren has placed 250+ athletes
Advanced Game IQ TrainingReads, spacing, positioning — the mental game college coaches say most prospects lack
Exclusive Level 2 EnvironmentNo beginners. No drop-ins. A room full of serious players — which makes everyone better
Who makes it to Level 2? Players who've been through Skill Lab and are ready to train at a different speed. If your player is chasing varsity, AAU, or a college offer — Level 2 is where that work gets done.

Inside the Session

WHAT ACTUALLY
HAPPENS.

Not a workout. Not timed intervals. Not random drills. Every Skill Lab session is built around one skill from the I'm Possible Checklist — picked by the coach, trained by the whole room, logged and never repeated.

The I'm Possible Checklist
800+
SKILLS.
ZERO
REPEATS.
Coach Warren holds the I'm Possible Skill Lab Operator Credential — giving Hoopology access to an 800+ skill checklist developed by Micah Lancaster. Every session pulls one skill from that list. The whole group trains it. It gets checked off. It never comes back.
1
Coach Picks the Skill
Before the session, the coach pulls one skill from the I'm Possible Checklist — something that group hasn't trained yet. Could be a specific footwork pattern, a finishing move, a shooting technique, a handle combo. One skill. That's the whole session.
2
The Whole Room Trains It
Every player in that session — regardless of tier — works the same skill. Not stations. Not circuits. Everyone locked in on one thing. That level of focused repetition is what creates real muscle memory, not just familiarity.
3
It Gets Logged. Never Repeated.
That skill gets checked off for this group. The coach tracking the checklist knows what's been done and what hasn't. Your player will never train the same skill twice in Skill Lab — the curriculum keeps moving forward.
4
Repeat. For 800 Skills.
Train 3× a week consistently — that's roughly 70+ sessions a year. You will never see the same skill. After a year of Skill Lab, your player has a repertoire that most players spend their entire careers without building.

Skills Ever Repeated
"Most facilities run the same 20 drills on rotation. We have 800+ skills and we're working through every single one. That's not a session plan — that's a development system."
— Coach Warren Bunkley

What parents notice
after 30 days.

Not promises. What we've seen repeatedly over 20+ years and 250+ college placements.

01
Noticeably improved ball handling & footwork Parents see it first at home — different body control, more confident with the ball. Usually visible within the first 2–3 weeks of consistent attendance.
02
Skills that transfer directly to game situations The whole point. We don't train for the gym — we train for the game. Players start making reads and executing moves they've never been able to pull off before.
03
Increased confidence on the court When you know your footwork and you trust your handle — you play differently. That confidence is visible. Coaches notice. Teammates notice. Players feel it.
Is Skill Lab Right For Your Player?

WHO IT'S
BUILT FOR.

🏀
The serious young player
Ages 5–17 who want real development — not rec league participation. They want to get better and are willing to put in the work.
📋
The player trying to make the team
AAU tryouts, school team cuts, varsity spots. Skill Lab is where players close the gap between where they are and where they need to be.
🏆
The player chasing college
Coach Warren has placed 250+ athletes. He knows what college coaches watch for. Level 2 is built around that knowledge.
👨‍👩‍👧
Parents who want a real program
Not babysitting. Not a glorified rec session. A structured, coached, systematic program with real accountability and real results.
⚠ Skill Lab is NOT for
Players who aren't ready to be coached and corrected
Drop-in players — enrollment only, so every session has consistency
Parents who expect results without consistent attendance
Players just looking for open gym time — this is structured training
Common Questions

BEFORE YOU
ENROLL.

Can my child move from Kids Lab to Skill Lab?
+
Yes — and that's the goal. Kids Lab builds the foundation so the transition to Skill Lab is natural and strong. Coach Warren evaluates players regularly and recommends when they're ready to move up. There's no arbitrary age cutoff — it's about readiness.
What if my player misses a session?
+
Life happens. Missed sessions don't roll over — but the monthly membership gives your player access to all scheduled sessions in that tier for the month. Consistent attendance is what drives results, so we encourage showing up every session.
How is this different from AAU or school practice?
+
AAU and school practice focus on team systems and winning games. Skill Lab focuses exclusively on individual skill development — the things that make your player better regardless of team. Most of our players do both. Skill Lab is what makes them stand out in AAU and school settings.
How do I add the Personal Training add-on?
+
Once enrolled in any Skill Lab, Level 2, or Kids membership, you can add Personal Training sessions at any time. $50/month for 3 sessions or $75/month for 4 sessions. Groups are capped at 5 players maximum. You choose your preferred coach when scheduling.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
+
No contracts. Month-to-month membership. That said, real development requires consistency — we recommend committing to at least 60–90 days to see meaningful change. Most of our families stay far longer because they see results.
Where is Skill Lab located?
+
1810 Seward Ave, Bronx, NY. Dedicated Hoopology facility — not a shared community center or rented gym. Our space, our courts, our standards.
